KidZania is safe and interactive education and entertainment indoor theme park that allows children to role-play adult activities in a replica city designed to simulate real-life and a functioning economy.

Etymologically the name of KidZania was created using the word “Kid” an abbreviation of the word “kinder” which means children, “ania” a Latin suffix which means “land of” and “Z” in reference to the word “zany” which means “cool” – that is to say, “land of cool kids”.

Children can role-play over 90 different professions in 59 different establishments. Such as being a chef, pilot, surgeon, nurse, lawyer, firefighter, police officer, actor, reporter, artist, courierman, newscaster, photographer, etc.

What is the difference between KidZania and other theme parks?

Unlike traditional theme parks, there are no arcade games and no rides. Instead, KidZania is a safe and interactive education and entertainment indoor theme park where children can lead independent lives and get to understand the world of grown-ups better, by being grown-ups themselves.

If KidZania caters to 4 to 14 years of age, how can kids of different ages perform an activity together?

The children will perform their activity together guided by a Zupervisor. Activities and tasks will be distributed to the children depending on their age.

In what languages are the activities carried out at KidZania Kuala Lumpur?

It is primarily led by English.

Can I leave my children in KidZania? Is parent supervision required?

Only children 8 years and above can be left without parent supervision. Any children below 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is it safe for me to leave my child in KidZania? 

Children and adults will be tagged with a special security bracelet which can only be removed upon two prevailing conditions:

• ► Exiting KidZania
• ► Parents / guardians authority

What can parents do while waiting for their children?

There is a parent’s lounge equipped with wi-fi and a movie room, exclusively for adults.
